FEMA faces major layoffs targeting staff working on climate, equity, and diversity.

According to internal emails and interviews obtained by POLITICO’s E&E News, FEMA has been instructed to identify additional personnel cuts, particularly targeting those involved with climate change initiatives and equity-focused programs.
