Eight people taken to hospital after turbulence on flight to Ireland

Eight passengers have been taken to hospital after a flight from Doha to Dublin experienced turbulence.

Earlier, Dublin Airport said that six passengers and six cabin crew were injured during turbulence on the flight from Qatar to Ireland.

The injuries occurred when the plane “experienced turbulence while airborne over Turkey”, around two hours into the flight.

Qatar Airways flight QR017 from Doha landed at Dublin Airport shortly before 1pm.
