She criticizes Our Revolution for endorsing billionaire Tom Steyer—who made his fortune from private prisons—in the California governor’s race, calling it emblematic of progressive leaders abandoning their principles, while noting that Republicans and Democrats are both driving “towards a cliff” with only marginal differences in speed.
Jimmy argues that the only solution is a worker rebellion modeled on the Canadian trucker protests, with railroad workers, port workers, and truck drivers shutting down the economy and demanding publicly funded elections with six-week campaign seasons, since “we ain’t going to vote our way out of this.” Gray acknowledges that Tucker Carlson and other unlikely anti-war voices have credibility because they were willing to lose their careers and standing to tell the truth about Ukraine, COVID, and Israel, while establishment progressives like AOC and Bernie Sanders were not.
