Credible Insider Claims “AGI has been achieved internally”

Does this mean we’ve already achieved the singularity?

Jimmy Apples, who many believe is an OpenAI insider, tweeted “AGI has been achieved internally”

Then his account vanished.

He deleted his tweets, BUT (via Wayback Machine) look at this strange tweet:

Not necessarily self-conscious or self-aware, but independently able to function intelligently.
