Costco has been engulfed in a wild doomsday conspiracy theory after a customer shared the various ’emergency meal’ kits currently available for purchase from the retail giant.

Doomsday prepper Krystal Christensen, who goes by @charminglyfrugal on TikTok, frequently shares survival tips on her account, where she boasts over 96,000 followers.

Most recently, the US-based survival expert took to the video-sharing platform to show viewers the ’emergency meal’ kits that are now being offered at the bulk-buy chain.

The clip prompted many people on the web to question if the store knew something they didn’t and was ‘hinting’ that people needed to prepare for the worst.
