Breakaway Moldovan region of Transnistria asks Russia for “protection”

“Transnistria has addressed Russia asking for help due to economic blockade from Moldova, declaration was adopted by a congress of deputies” – Russian Ria Novosti.

According to an alleged text of the declaration, published by a Tel’gram channel, the deputies are asking Russia to:

“carry out a complex of events to defend Transnistria in the conditions of Moldova intensifying its pressure, taking into account the fact that over 220 thousand of Russian citizens have permanent residency in Transnistrian Moldovan Repulic, and the unique positive experience of the Russian peacekeeping on the Dniester, and its status as guarantor and mediator in the negotiations process.”

The declaration reportedly also approves addresses to the UN and various EU institutions, as well as CIS members asking them to influence Moldova.

Ukraine has been pondering making a move on Transnistria.

It is believed to have millions of tons of Ammunition stored in an underground secure bunker. Ammunition Ukraine desperately needs.

A Western blockade of Transnistria would start a war with Russia. One to watch.

As is the Baltic Sea which has now become part of US/NATO portfolio after Sweden admission in to NATO. Kaliningrad becomes more and more encircled and isolated in a US/NATO military Noose. Another one to watch.

Blockades will be the point of no return. Russia will be forced to act.
