The main goal of this war, at this point, is to just destroy as much American/NATO equipment as possible so contractors can get paid to replace it with newer, more expensive equipment.

The original goal of the war was to try to collapse Russia’s economy. That did not work, and we know it is not going to work, so you have to ask what exactly is going on here.
The only thing that makes sense is that it’s about weapons contracts, with most of the people in the government too stupid to understand what a failure this whole debacle actually is.
