Arctic blast to invade central, southern and eastern US prior to midmonth, power outages possible…

The coldest weather so far this winter is about to freeze portions of the central and eastern United States as dangerously cold Arctic air will arrive in the wake of a blizzard.

Article is very long so go read it and see the maps.

The power outages mention is from me. Gas up your car. Put in a bottle of heat into the tank. Figure out before the storms how to keep your pipes from freezing. It’s going to be bitterly cold. Stock up on beverages and food you can eat without cooking. I’m going to hang blankets over my patio door and windows.

We got 10 inches of snow the other day and getting 15 inches more in the blizzard. Then it’s going to get super cold until Feb 9th. Hopefully that will change.
