Pemex reported a powerful explosion followed by a fire at the Hidros 2 cooling tower inside the Antonio Dovalí Jaime refinery in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. Six workers were injured (three Pemex employees and three contractors) and taken to hospital. The fire has been fully extinguished, and officials say there was no risk to the nearby population.
