Amazon stock surged after the tech giant unveiled its new in-house AI chip, Trainium3. The company claims the chip is faster, more efficient, and significantly cheaper than Nvidia’s GPUs. Investors jumped on the news, sending AMZN shares higher as excitement over AI growth hits the market.

AWS says each new UltraServer can hold up to 144 Trainium3 chips. The company claims up to 4.4 times more compute performance than the previous generation.
