A Quick Note About the Site

Some readers have noticed that parts of the site are now behind a paywall, so I want to explain why.

Running this site takes a significant amount of time. Most days I spend 10–12 hours going through media outlets, official sources, and X to find and compile the most relevant stories. The goal has always been simple: save readers time by gathering important information in one place.

The first 500 characters of each post are still visible, and most posts are around that length, so readers can still see most of the content.

This change wasn’t something I wanted to do, but independent sites like this have been heavily demonetized over the years, and search engines don’t make it easy for smaller aggregators to stay visible. Reader support helps keep the site running.

The site has also evolved. It used to lean more to the right, but it’s now independent. As we stay independent, some stories may occasionally make existing readers uncomfortable. That’s part of the process. Every side tends to frame events in ways that favor its own narrative. Remaining independent means looking at information from multiple directions so readers can better judge what is actually happening.

Thanks to everyone who continues to read and support the site.
