This is just a PR stunt.
If they were going to do a real ground invasion, they wouldn’t be doing gay little pointless displays.
A real ground invasion would serve no purpose.
The IDF simply do not have the physicality to match the level of ground warrior that the Arabs have, and the Hamas tunnel system is serious sh*t.
If Israel did invade, they would get run out and it would make this even more humiliating than it already is.
Israeli infantry backed by tanks and armoured bulldozers have attacked Hamas targets in an hours-long overnight ground raid into the northern Gaza Strip, as officials raised the number of confirmed hostages being held by the militant Islamist group to 224.
The raid came as European Union leaders were set to call for the establishment of “humanitarian corridors and pauses” to get urgently needed aid into Gaza, according to the final draft of a text to be approved at a summit in Brussels on Thursday.
Grainy video footage released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) showed a column of at least a dozen main battle tanks and other armored vehicles crossing through an opening in the Gaza border wall and firing on a nearby built-up area of damaged buildings.
