Next week, the U.S. Treasury is set to auction $183 billion in marketable securities. Here’s the breakdown:
- 3-Year Treasury Notes: An auction of $48 billion in 3-year Treasury notes will take place on November 7, 20241.
- 5-Year Treasury Notes: There will be a $40 billion auction of 5-year Treasury notes on November 8, 20241.
- 7-Year Treasury Bonds: Lastly, $24 billion in 7-year Treasury bonds will be auctioned on November 9, 20241.
These auctions serve both to refund maturing notes and to raise new cash.
