YouTube doesn’t realize this will be the final nail in their coffin.
Half a dozen video hosting sites exist with the same basic functionality for users and almost no censorship already.
“But muh ad revenue” – nobody cares.
Creators worth supporting have already found other ways to get their audiences to support them.
Stopping people from blocking their obnoxious ads will start the great migration away from YT until nothing worth watching is left there.
