Xi took a swipe at tariffs, saying they “undermine the legitimate rights” of countries and mess with the “world economic order.”
Because apparently now the rules of global trade matter – just not when China’s the one stacking the deck.
Xi also warned against trade conflicts hurting the multilateral system China famously ignores when convenient.
Global free trade: great, as long as it flows one direction.
