World Health Organization calls emergency meeting on MPOX spread

The World Health Organization (WHO) has called an emergency meeting to address the spread of the mpox virus. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced the meeting to determine if the increasing spread of mpox in Africa warrants declaring it a global emergency.
