Woman wins court case to evict her two sons, aged 40 and 42

The 75-year-old mother described her two sons as ‘parasites’ for living at home without financially contributing despite being employed

A 75-year-old mother in northern Italy won a court order to have her sons, aged 40 and 42, evicted from her house after they refused to leave the comfort of their homes.

The retiree from Pavia described her two sons as “parasites” in court documents for living in the apartment without financially contributing or helping around the house, despite both men being employed, the court documents state.

The mother is separated from the sons’ father and entirely relies on her pension to provide food and maintenance of the home. The colloquial Italian term, “mammoni”, has been used to describe adult men who are too dependent on their mothers.
