Wow, too bad she was greedy and got caught. If she would have kept her mouth shut about the glitch, she could have had free gas for life. She told others about it, that is how she got caught.

A Nebraska woman was arrested after allegedly using a pump glitch to get over $27,000 of free gas.
Lincoln Police said 45-year-old Dawn Thompson received free gas for more than six months at the Pump and Pantry, KOLN reported.
Authorities received a call from Bosselman Enterprise’s loss prevention manager that someone was participating in a fuel scam. Through the investigation, police determined that the fuel pumps received a software update that managed orders and reward cards.
However, the update unknowingly allowed anyone who swiped a rewards card twice to switch the pump from regular mode into demo mode, making it possible to get free gas.
