What happens to a car if someone is 500lbs?

by BananaFighter

It is generally not safe to have 500 lbs on one side of a car, as this significantly imbalances the weight distribution, potentially affecting handling, braking, and stability, making driving dangerous and increasing the risk of accidents; always check your vehicle’s weight capacity and distribute cargo evenly across the car.

Obese people are more likely to be injured or killed in a car crash than drivers of normal weight. This is because seat belts don’t fit as well and because of the increased risk of other health problems.

Unfortunately, using standard seat belts can be cumbersome, or even impossible, for many adults, such as older people, short or little people and those who are overweight.

489/3 = 163 That’s 3 people.

That lawsuit by the fat woman will be thrown out as quickly as it was filed. The driver could have saved her life honestly.

Seatbelts are the law. If nothing else, he’s well within his right to prevent someone from riding in his vehicle if they won’t/can’t wear a seatbelt.

The amount of weight a vehicle can handle is based on an even distribution of that weight. Car manufacturers don’t base their weight limits on putting it all on one side.

Sorry, but of you’re 500lbs then it isn’t safe for you to drive in a vehicle. Unless it’s in the back of a flatbed pickup (and even then it’s unsafe).

Was this guy supposed to damage his car, put both lives at risk and have her not wear a seatbelt, all to spare her feelings?
