WEF – The Netherlands is building a neighbourhood where every car must be shared

In the Netherlands, there’s an innovative city center development called Merwede in Utrecht. This neighborhood aims to be nearly car-free, emphasizing pedestrians and cyclists. Residents will share a pool of cars and bicycles, with approximately three private car parking spaces planned for every 10 houses.
