If bluesky pays influencers to promote the platform, AOC is earning a shitload of money.
#2 is George Takei and #3 is Mark Hamill. These are not relevant or interesting or popular or insightful people by any stretch – and obviously only one political party dominates the conversation.
For another comparison, Threads is vastly larger than bluesky and none of the top accounts are overtly political, threads is mostly just pop culture celebrities.
