According to some new research, local communities experience, a lot of negative effects once a Walmart opens up in their area. Average income tend to drop, local businesses end up going out of business altogether, or having to layoff staff in order to compete with Walmarts artificially low prices. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. You could say Walmart has definitely won the game of capitalism and is doing quite well at the moment. But how good is this really for our economy?
