A confirmed Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang member has been arrested for allegedly recruiting students from two Houston middle schools to become new gang members.
Jorgenys Robertson Cova, an illegal alien from Venezuela, entered the United States two years ago, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The 32-year-old was arrested Monday after a string of alleged thefts.
Cova is also alleged to have recruited middle school students from Jane Long Academy and Las Americas, which are part of Houston Independent School District. – FOX
The alleged ringleader of a brutal robbery in an upscale Dallas neighborhood that shocked Texans is a confirmed Tren de Aragua gang member who was welcomed into the country just last year, sources told The Post. Venezuelan illegal migrant Wilmer Colmenares Gonzalez, 27, allegedly held police at bay for hours after the robbery squad followed the victim into her garage, pistol-whipped her and forced her into her home in Northwest Dallas, where they made off with the valuables inside the woman’s Gucci handbag on Sept. 21, according to cops. – NYPost

This notorious South American gang, known for sex trafficking and targeting fellow Venezuelans, entered the U.S. with asylum-seeking migrants. Their criminal activities now stretch from Miami to New York. Recently, gang members were caught on video in Aurora, Colorado, storming an apartment complex with assault rifles. – msn
