Near Izu Islands
In the 5 range, very shallow.
Stay tuned for updates.
Tens of M4.5+ earthquakes have occurred in the last few days near the Izu islands, with a small 30 cm tsunami observed after the largest M6.1 event. This region has known submarine volcanoes, but no unusual volcanic activity has of yet been observed according to the local news. pic.twitter.com/HM9NyiDRZn

BREAKING NEWS. Looks like "Culebra Mini" has happened. Double mag6 earthquake, tsunami advisory + massive swarm of 5+ right in the spot I indicated for this event just days before. Now we got 3 big earthquakes in 3 days on my selected sites including the Culebra Mini double hit. https://t.co/ypdyfnD6lW

And for those that may have not seen my post about the adjusted location for Culebra mini before these events unfolded. I shifted it south from the blocking to this site because it was too tight which turned out to be the right move.https://t.co/ZFh00Lr58s

MORE BREAKING NEWS. Culebra Mini's spot has officially started swarming folks. And there was just a magnitude 6.4 earthquake just matching my spot AND the blocking location. So now 2 mag 6s matched the map projection in less than 2 1/2 days of making it. pic.twitter.com/bX986VyJjX
