I feel sorry for Tucker Carlson and other paleo-conservatives.
Tucker has an imaginary version of the Republican Party in his head and he is trying to steer it back to issues here at home with important reporting like this.
But no serious political conversation is even possible if you ignore the true power behind the throne.
