Tesla recently introduced two major innovations at their “We, Robot” event: the Robovan and the Optimus Robot.
The Robovan is a fully autonomous electric vehicle, capable of transporting up to 20 people or goods in crowded areas. It boasts a sleek, retro-futuristic design with metallic silver sides and sliding doors. Without the need for a steering wheel or pedals, the Robovan is designed for a variety of uses, including as a school bus or even a stylish ride for events like weddings.
The Optimus Robot, Tesla’s humanoid robot, is engineered to handle a wide range of everyday tasks. During the event, it demonstrated interactive abilities, serving drinks and playing games. Elon Musk highlighted its potential for daily chores like walking the dog or getting groceries. The expected price for the Optimus Robot falls between $20,000 and $30,000.
