Hypocrisy level just hit new peaks here.

The old insults (2016):During the 2016 Republican primary, Trump repeatedly tore into Lindsey Graham, calling him:
- A “nut job”
- A “disgrace”
- “One of the dumbest human beings I’ve ever seen”
These quotes are well-documented from Trump rallies in South Carolina.
The current situation (2025–2026):
Trump has given Lindsey Graham his full endorsement for re-election in the 2026 Senate race. Graham filed for re-election earlier this year and has been one of Trump’s strongest allies in the Senate, especially on foreign policy issues like Iran. Trump has called him a loyal supporter and given him his “complete and total endorsement.”
This is a classic example of Trump’s pattern: he holds grudges but also forgives (or at least allies with) former critics when it becomes politically useful.
President Trump’s endorsement means the world to me. I am humbled by his faith in me as a Senator and as a friend.
On a professional level, I am proud to have been there at the beginning when President Trump — through sheer force of will —achieved the greatest political comeback… pic.twitter.com/uLmTmM7Dof
