Former President Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize due to his role in the Abraham Peace Accords, which normalized relations between Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
His supporter, Rep. Claudia Tenney, emphasized Trump’s unprecedented efforts in creating the accords and criticized the Nobel Peace Prize Committee for not recognizing his achievements.
This nomination follows previous nominations in 2020 for his anti-war stances and efforts in securing an economic treaty between Serbia and Kosovo.
“Donald Trump was instrumental in facilitating the first new peace agreements in the Middle East in almost 30 years,” Tenney stated.
