On Saturday, multiple tornadoes tore through Southeast Texas, causing major damage. Tornado sightings were confirmed in Cypress and Splendora, while Doppler radar showed severe storms with rotation near Katy, Tomball, Conroe, and Porter. The tornadoes moved northeast at 25-35 mph, keeping Houston, Polk, Trinity, and surrounding counties under tornado watches.

The storm left substantial damage in its wake. Hail was reported near U.S. 290 and Spring Cypress Road, while homes, structures, and power lines were hit hard.
