According to Superintendent Liz Bystedt in a notice sent to families, the first incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon along Route A near the intersection of Highway 94 and Cochera Via.

Bystedt described how three men were seen walking in the middle of the highway, attempting to stop the bus. The bus driver managed to navigate around the group, avoiding any direct confrontation.

The situation escalated the following morning on Wednesday, when a Route B school bus encountered approximately 20 individuals attempting to board while students were being picked up.
