first there was/is horrible inflation(ie Germany prior to ww 2 ).2nd need for expansion (Japan)3rd deterioration morals (Europe prior 2 world wars). I am definitely not a historical scholar nor old enough to remember ww2 but I do remember some of world History courses.

They said that about WWI, great war so grand and terrible, it’d end wars going forth. Then they said the same about nukes. AI will yet be another in the ongoing line of things that’ll supposedly end wars.
