According to a recent study from market watch, they are saying that grocery prices relative to income today in 2024 are now cheaper than they were in 2019. I would say that is true for almost no one, except for people that have seen their incomes increased substantially over the last five years. Everybody else is reeling from higher grocery prices along with higher housing cost higher. Transportation cost higher everything. Just another lie being told about this economy to make things look good.
