There is a massive wildfire currently burning in Southern California, known as the Line Fire. As of today, the fire has grown to over 23,000 acres and is 0% contained. The fire started on Thursday and has rapidly spread due to high temperatures.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency and secured a Fire Management Assistance Grant from FEMA to help combat the fire. Thousands of people have been evacuated, and over 36,000 structures are threatened.
