In 2015, VanEck made predictions for the oil price by 2020:

Worst case – $80 per barrel
Base case – $150 per barrel
Best case – $300 per barrel

Reality: In 2020, the oil price fell below $20 per barrel during the COVID-19 crisis, completely missing any of VanEck’s predictions.
