Not just Norway. France introduced a wealth tax on its top earning citizens in 1982 until 2017, but not before more than 60,000 millionaires left. Not only were the wealth taxes lost, but so we’re their income taxes. In 1990, there were 12 countries in Europe that had these so-called wealth taxes and today only 3 remain.
