Taiwan to be hit by “super typhoon” Gaemi (possibly cat 5)! Dam in Manila region reaching critical level of water and may fall

Typhoon Gaemi is indeed approaching Taiwan and has intensified into a super typhoon. It is expected to make landfall on the island’s northeast coast soon, bringing very strong winds and heavy rainfall. Authorities have already closed schools, suspended the stock market, and declared a typhoon holiday.

Regarding the dam in the Manila region, there have been reports of heavy rainfall and flooding in the Philippines due to Typhoon Gaemi.

Typhoon #Gaemi has been upgraded earlier today to a Category 4 140mph/120kts with a pressure of 948mb. Category 5 is not out of the question as it continues to strengthen more. Gaemi has had an explosive increase of 50kts/60 mph in 24 hours.
