Sweden just kill cousin marriage to stop honor pressure.

Now Sweden ban first cousin marriage complete, also uncle-niece, half brother sister and some other close family.

From July 1 no more such wedding in country. Foreign ones mostly not count anymore.

Government say this to fight forced marriage and honor violence, specially protect young girls from family force.

Before Sweden was ok with cousin marriage but after migration numbers go up big. Norway start ban already January 2025.

All parties vote yes. Some immigrant groups angry call it attack on their culture.

Cousin kids have 2-3 times more risk birth defects than normal couples. Sweden pay extra hospital money for years because of this.

Open borders bring family systems that clash hard with Western freedom and welfare costs.

Politicians wake up late but now see honor culture make integration impossible without hard rules.

Other Europe countries will copy fast when they check the numbers on defects, violence and separation.
