State of emergency declared in Kentucky: All government offices to close.

FRANKFORT, Ky —
Gov. Andy Beshear has declared a state of emergency in Kentucky amid several rounds of storms throughout the state.
A second round of storms is expected to hit the Commonwealth late Tuesday afternoon.

Storm started in the state on Monday, and produced heavy rainfall, hail, lightning, damaging winds and on Tuesday morning, at least one tornado.
Due to the forecasted storms Tuesday after and night, Beshear is closing all Executive Branch state office buildings beginning at 1 p.m. EDT.
