Samsung Electronics has confirmed that its co-CEO, Han Jong-hee, passed away at the age of 63 due to cardiac arrest. Han was a key figure in Samsung’s consumer electronics and mobile devices division, having joined the company nearly 40 years ago. He became vice chairman and co-CEO in 2022 and was also a member of the company’s board.
