CEOs from five of the biggest technology companies testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Jan 31 about children’s safety online. The CEOs are Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, X’s Linda Yaccarino, TikTok’s Chew Shou Zi, Snap’s Evan Spiegel and no’s Jason Citron.
The hearing comes as lawmakers, families and advocates are growing increasingly concerned about the effects of social media on young people’s lives.
