Senator Alex Padilla was forcibly removed, handcuffed, and pinned to the ground during a Department of Homeland Security press conference led by Secretary Kristi Noem. The shocking scene unfolded in Los Angeles, leaving lawmakers and political observers stunned.
I am sorry, you MAGA fanatics. This is not even remotely OK. If AOC or some other left-wing Wackadoo wins next time you will be the one wearing the cuffs! https://t.co/gmlXcbch2v

Padilla was attending the event when he attempted to ask Noem a question. “I’m Senator Alex Padilla, I have questions for the secretary,” he declared. Within seconds, federal agents grabbed him, pushed him toward the exit, and forced him to the ground. The video, released by Padilla’s office, shows two FBI agents and an unidentified man restraining him as Noem continued speaking.
The senator was not arrested, but the incident has ignited a firestorm. California Governor Gavin Newsom called it ‘outrageous, dictatorial, and shameful.’ Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer demanded answers, stating that the manhandling of a sitting senator ‘sickened his stomach.’
The footage speaks for itself. A United States senator was dragged, handcuffed, and silenced in front of the press. The political fallout is just beginning.
