Seattle: Man shot dead during church dinner. At least 30 bullets fired. Suspect fled in white car.

Man shot and killed outside Pursuit Church near the University of Washington during a youth dinner. Witnesses said about 30 shots were fired. Seattle police believe it was a targeted attack. The suspect drove off in a white Hyundai Elantra and has not been caught.

UW issued a statement: “The victim in the shooting … has been pronounced dead at the scene.”

Police later said: “There is not believed to be any ongoing threat in the area.”

The church had welcomed youth and families into the parking lot for dinner when shots broke out. No arrests. No motive confirmed. Seattle police continue to investigate.
