£38M ‘SATAN-2’ NUCLEAR MISSILE EXPLODES AT LAUNCH SITE**

A catastrophic explosion occurred during the testing of the £38 million ‘Satan-2’ nuclear missile at the Plesetsk cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk, Russia.

The incident raises concerns over the stability of the Russian missile program.

Satellite imagery has appeared to show a massive crater at a Russian missile test centre after a nuclear-capable RS-28 Sarmat exploded.
