Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) claims NATO is preparing a 100,000-strong force in Ukraine, with Putin accusing NATO and the U.S. of being “fully at war” with Russia.

SVR Statement: “The West will need the actual occupation of Ukraine. Naturally, this will be done under the guise of deploying a ‘peacekeeping contingent’ in the country, the message says. In total, it is planned to introduce 100,000 so-called peacekeepers into Ukraine.”

Putin’s Threat: “This will mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries are at war with Russia. And if this is so, then, bearing in mind the change in the very essence of this conflict, we will make appropriate decisions based on the threats that will be created for us.”
