Multiple reputable outlets report that:

Russia, China, and Iran have deployed naval vessels to the Strait of Hormuz.

The drills are part of the “Maritime Security Belt 2026” joint exercise.

Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev publicly confirmed the deployment.

The exercises are hosted by Iran and involve all three nations’ naval forces.
