Since records began in 1887, Punxsutawney Phil has made 139 predictions (up to 2025). He’s seen his shadow 107 times (more winter) and not 32 times (early spring). His overall accuracy is about 39%, per Stormfax Almanac and NOAA analyses. Recent years (2013-2023) drop to 30%. Fun tradition, but not a reliable forecast!
