Police robot dodges a bullet, teargasses a man, and pins him to the ground during a standoff in Texas

39-year-old Felix Delarosa was seen throwing a bedsheet on the robot and firing at it before getting teargassed by the device.

Delarosa was wanted by Texas’ “anti-gang” unit for a separate crime when the incident unfolded.

“Authorities said Delarosa fired another shot while SWAT negotiators also attempted to contact him,” a local news report said.

“Delarosa continued firing shots, then fired a round at officers. A member of the sheriff’s office sn*per team then fired off a round, striking Delarosa.”

The robot helped take Delarosa into custody before he was rushed to the hospital for his injuries.
