Palantir AI turns civilian deaths into endless automated kill lists creating its own genocide loop

Palantir Software Automates Genocide

  1. I did not work on these projects directly, but I have worked with people that have. The military is building psychological profiles of literally everyone, using all available data.
  2. Based on my experience with software engineering and what I have heard from those that have worked with the NSA and Palantir, the way the surveillance and algorithms which are used to label and then execute people work creates an inevitable and genocidal feedback loop.

For example, let’s say you’re a civilian with no terrorist ties and then your family gets blown up. Suddenly the terrorist-finding algorithm has raised the likelihood of your being a terrorist significantly. Are you in close proximity to other civilians who have also lost family and who are also considered higher-risk threats because of this? Congrats, now you’re considered even more likely to be a terrorist, according to the algorithm.

Do you see where this leads? The more people you kill, the more people you get to kill. And because it’s automated they pretend there is some sort of objectivity involved, when in reality it’s all random ass guesses designed to create a situation where more and more targets are created in a never ending feedback loop. That’s how the software works.

And you don’t need me to tell you this. You can see that this is happening. It’s not at all subtle.

And our tax dollars are funding it.

Tech Executives Commissioned as Senior Army Officers Won’t Recuse Themselves from DoD Business Dealings

Factcheck:

Palantir (through its Project Maven and Gotham platforms) does provide AI-powered targeting tools to the US military and has been linked to Israel’s military operations.

  • These systems analyze massive amounts of data (drone footage, satellite imagery, cell phone data, social media, etc.) to help generate target lists.
  • Reports from Gaza and the recent Iran conflict show these AI tools have been used to identify thousands of targets very quickly.
  • Multiple credible sources (including +972 Magazine, The Guardian, Reuters, and human rights groups) have reported that Israel’s AI systems (some using Palantir tech or similar) have led to high civilian casualty rates, with relaxed rules on acceptable collateral damage.

However, the “genocide loop” part is over-the-top:

  • There is no evidence of a literal self-perpetuating automated system that “turns civilian deaths into endless kill lists” on its own.
  • The systems still have human oversight (though critics argue it’s minimal and rushed).
  • The high civilian death tolls are real and alarming, but they result from policy decisions (rules of engagement, target approval thresholds) + AI speed, not some rogue AI creating an infinite genocide cycle.

Verdict:
The core concern — that Palantir’s AI is being used in ways that contribute to large-scale civilian deaths with reduced human accountability — is a legitimate and serious criticism shared by human rights organizations, journalists, and some military experts. The “endless automated genocide loop” framing turns it into conspiracy territory.
