So what is your alternative then?
As you may have noticed, christians have never lied about there not being different readings in manuscripts. But then, we do not claim to have ONE bible written on clay tablets in paradise like muslims claim about the quran. But that also means that muslim imams give ignorant muslims the impression that a bible that is a different version is completely different so we cannot know what the bible really say, and we cant know which manuscripts have the original reading. THAT IS A LIE!
First off, since we christians have much more manuscripts than others, that means there will be more differences in the text, as explained here:
If you go with the reading most manuscripts have, you have the MAJORITY TEXT. But there is a different line of text that is as important as the manuscripts themselves: The church fathers and what THEY said about the text when they wrote about the bible.
Modern scholars which attack textus receptus are based on the ideas of german higher criticism and basically 2 old manuscripts (plus a handful more) AGAINST the evidence of the church fathers and the majority of manuscripts, and manuscripts that are about as old. They even classify text identical to textus receptus/majority text reading as “critical text” to make it look as though they have more manuscripts arguing for their cause than they do. Any bible based on the NESTLE ALAND text is in this line of thinking, and the latest version of this text is NA28 (earier it was NA27 etc). THIS is the text that muslims attack when they say the bible text is corrupt and continously updated, and any chrisitan ignorant enough to hold to this text as representing Gods word will have to somewhat agree with the muslim here.

Example of a passage the muslims love to attack (which only works if a christian have a nestle aland based bible, in which case he has to say this passage probably was “added in”), here is why the longer reading of 1 John 5:7-8 (Johannine Comma) is original, and as you see the evidence is so strong you can not doubt this is the original reading of the bible:
