Trump bought the Miss Universe Organization in 1996, which also included Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, and he kept it for almost twenty years. He ended up selling it in 2015 after NBC and Univision cut ties with him over his political comments. Rolling Stone confirms he owned the whole thing for nearly two decades before letting it go in 2015.
